It’s been a wonderful several weeks, busy with shows through the holidays and kicking off 2019 with some special projects.

After a great afternoon of music with NAMI’s Recovery through the Arts Project at Unity Temple on January 12th, (see a YouTube clip of my performance), Kettlestrings (our 5 piece band) played The Friendly Tap in Berwyn, (here’s a quick clip.)  We enjoyed an evening of music with Jodi and Dave Walker’s Night of 1000 Stars.  Super fun!

Kettlestrings was then a part of the Unity Festival (see our 30 min set here) at Fitzgerald’s followed by a solo show (really a trio accompanied by Don Kovach and Katie Bender, watch a tidbet here) at Amy’s Wine House in Forest Park on January 26. I can’t believe how amazing it was to play with a string section – I am honored to play with these wonderful musicians and explore my tunes in other arrangements.

Next up is a full Kettlestrings show back at Amy’s Wine House on February 23 in Forest Park, my directing the Women Inspired by Song Ensemble for morning concert.  I have two Caring Concerts coming up at local senior living facilities as well.  Late winter will be marked by additional solo and Kettlestrings shows (I’ll keep ya posted,) the annual Spring Music Fest at Unity Temple on May 4, and we get the honor of playing a backyard wedding in the summer.  We’re hoping to play a local summer festival (fingers crossed) as well.  Ah, I’m lovin’ this musical life.

Hope to see you soon!
